LYNN THE DEVIOUS: I remember the Clinton years, a photo op every day in every newspaper. The white house war room sent out daily position papers. Every sunday, the press regaled us with more pix of Clinton ( the first black president) outside some church, clutching his bible! (wink-wink-yuh know ah don mean ut, hu,hu). BUT No pix of Bush, a believer, actually going to church, as that could shore up his base. Can't have that.
JERRY THE MATHEMATICIAN: Re the OMIT section of the JIHAD--Omit any good war news--run those tortue pix by the only evil doers in the world , Americans. (BUSH BAD) Don't run the beheading films of NICK BERG, Eugene Armstrong, or graphic films of 9-11.(Bush might be RIGHT about danger of this enemy.) -Put good economic news at the back of the financial pages, "economy only up 1.1% ..how disappointing" ..contrast the clinton days :--"wow fabulous , economy up another 1.1% "
Count the times Clinton's endless speeches were dumped on us. Was he ever faced , even once, with the hostile speeches, and articles against him by FORMER presidents, and their ENTIRE cabinets( Madeleine Albright, Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Al Gore, Ramsey clark,: they NEVER went away!! Bush has given some spectacular speeches. The press runs one paragraph of his speech, then offers 20 paragraphs with diatribes by the democrat opposition to it. Any time for the president means equal time for any lib with a big mouth, no matter how offensive. Civility?
