SARA noticed a couple of weeks ago, before the election, that the congress quietly passed an immigration fence bill. And quietly,shhhh, the president signed it, possibly in invisible ink. However, the gang thinks the lame ducks in the House have work to do for those of us that DID vote for you lamers!!Reasons are given:
HANNAH THE WISE: Many say that the fence is too expensive!! I want to point out that if we consider that all monies will go to enrich our building material suppliers, our illegals who are presently engaged in construction, our unions, engineers, and security firms!! Work for the boys! This is just as valid a use for our resources as the earmarks you Lame duckers approved for bridges to nowhere, more sen.Byrd highways,and pork pies for every state!!
LYNN THE DEVIOUS : THE psychological effect : If you build the fence, and people of the USA feel that we have made an effort to SLOW DOWN THE ILLEGAL HORDES, they could reasonably ,then,eventually ,sensibly,...look at regularization or citizenship goals for these mexicans already here, ( many of whom have american citizen babies. Many babies)..NOW, we feel overwhelmed!! Too many!! Too many!!!
JERRY THE MATHEMATICIAN: lame duckers--look at the math!! Look at the absolute idiocy of believing that we can deport 30 million illegals, and use little Ellis island immigration centers IN MEXICO to process them.This latter recomendation by out formerly conservative legislators, makes us wonder, if any of you studied MATH!!Ask Haliburton!! Ask the US MILITARY.They move 150,000.troops in and out of iraq!! JUST that small amount of people moving , is a nightmare of logistics and expense..If you think the FENCE is expensive, try the EXODUS OF those "LAW-BREAKERS!!" ALSO..GET THE COMPUTER SYSTEM UP, SO EMPLOYERS CAN RUN THOSE FANTASY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS.
ThESE TWO ITEMS ALONE CAN DAMPEN THE IMMIGRATION FLOW.
MELINDA THE SIMPLE: since Mexico'S Fox DOESN'T LIKE IT, and we are told it hurt republicans with hispanic VOTERS ,( LEGAL? ) THEN WE SHOULD BE HEARTENED THAT THIS FENCE WILL BE AN EFFECTIVE TOOL. Don't forget, Most muslims in this country voted Dmocrat< so the fence will probably be a good security measure, also.
